This Privacy Policy explains how Klonec Automation Systems (“Company”, “We”, “Us”) collects, uses, stores, processes, and protects personal data through the Energy Meter & Electrical Services Application (“Platform”).

We act as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). By using this Platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data in accordance with this Policy.

  • LGD-based location classification (Urban / Semi-Urban / Rural)

  • Full Name
  • Mobile Number
  • Email ID
  • License / Certification details
  • Assigned serviceable areas
  • Bank account details (for settlement)
  • GST details (if applicable)
  • SLA performance records

2.3 Technical & System Data

  • Device identifiers
  • IP address
  • Login timestamps
  • App usage logs
  • SLA timers
  • In-app call masking metadata (not call content)

3. Purpose of Data Processing

Personal data is processed strictly for lawful purposes including:

  • User authentication (OTP-based login)
  • Service request management
  • Location-based pricing determination
  • Contractor allocation
  • SLA tracking and compliance
  • Payment processing and settlement
  • Dispute resolution
  • Ratings and quality control
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Fraud prevention
  • Customer support

We do not process personal data for unrelated or secondary purposes without additional consent.

9. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Personal data may be processed on cloud infrastructure located outside India, subject to compliance with DPDPA and applicable government notifications.

10. Children’s Data

The Platform is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data.

11. Automated Decision-Making

Certain processes are automated, including:

  • SLA breach detection
  • Contractor allocation
  • Location-based pricing determination

These decisions are system-driven and subject to administrative review.
